The NU 32nd congress will take place in the coming months. Each region has now started to prepare delegates and materials that will possibly be brought in the much-awaited forum, including a prospective figure who will be proposed as general chairman candidate of the Indonesia's largest Muslim organization.

The management of the NU Regional Board (PWNU) of Central Java along with NU branch boards across the province have also conducted various agenda prior to the congress.<>

"We have had our work meetings twice especially to discuss the congress," chairman of the PWNU Drs. H. Moh Adnan MA, said on the sidelines of an inauguration of the Tegal's NU Branch Board (PCNU) in Tegal over the weekend.

The PWNU, Adnan said, will propose such points as the limitation of the NU leadership, adding that "the leadership of NU should ideally be limited for two periods only so that the forming of cadres for the (coming prospective) leadership will become dynamic."

He further explained the importance of address the same things in regard with autonomous bodies and institutions, including determining the minimum age for those willing to participate in such bodies and institutions.

Asked about the candidate that will be nominated by the PWNU, Adnan said that the management would immediately discuss the matter.

"Insya Allah, in February (ahead), there will be a clear answer, who will be nominated by Central Java," Adnan said. (was)
