Japan's NU to prepare training of digitally yellow book application.

The Nahdlatul Ulama Special Branch Board (PCI NU) of Japan for the period of 2007-2008 would expire on 17 February ahead. Yet the process of board rotation would always continue the performance of organization.

No matter who will be the leader for the Japan-based Nahdliyin organization. The important thing is that how the board members to be able to accomplish purposeful organization mandate.<>

A series of much-awaited programs have been prepared, namely giving computer training and software application for digitally yellow books, called as Maktabah Shamelah for Islamic boarding schools in the country.


Chairman of the Japan's PCI NU, Luchman Hakim recently said that his organization had provided money amounted to 17.000 yen to finance the training. The money, he added, was from Nahdliyin living in Oita.

He said that he had sent Muhaddith software to Indonesia to be used firstly by the East Java's NU Regional Board (PWNU).

Luchman called on coming board members to keep cultivating relaTionship among Nahdliyin living in Japan and constantly communicating with those serving in the Central Board of Nahdlatul Ulama (PBNU).

"The optimalizations of information technology should be endorsed. one of these is by spreading information centered from both PBNU and Japan's PCI NU to Nahdliyin coming from any Muslim community in Japan," he said. (rif)
