President Yudhoyono meets with Malaysian Business makers

President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono held a meeting with some 50 Malaysian businessmen at JW Marriott hotel here on Monday after addressing the 3rd World Islamic Economic Forum (WIEF) at the Putra World Trade Center building.
The Malaysian business makers who met with President Yudhoyono were grouped in the Asian Strategic and Leadership Institute (ASLI), Kuala Lumpur Business Club (KLBC), and Malaysian investors in Indonesia.<>
The meeting focused on the Indonesian investment climate and the Malaysian businessmen’s commitment to investing in Indonesia.
After that, President Yudhoyono would meet with members of the Indonesia-Malaysia Workers Union.
Antara news agency reported, a number of problems related to Indonesian migrant workers in Malaysia would be discussed in the meeting.
On the occasion, President Yudhoyono would be accompanied by Coordinating Minister for the Economy Boediono, Trade Minister Mari Pangestu, Energy and Mineral Resources Minister Purnomo Yusgiantoro, Manpower and Transmigration Minister Erman Soeparno, Justice and Human Rights Minister Andi Mattalata, Cabinet Secretary Sudi Silalahi, presidential spokesmen Andi Malarangeng and Dino Patti Djalal.
Before the 3rd World Islamic Economic Forum, President Yudhoyono and Malaysian Prime Minister Abdullah Ahmad Badawi witnessed the signing of two documents, namely Master Alliance Agreement (MAA) between PT Tripatra Engineers and Constructors and PT TransPeninsula Petroleum Sdn Bhd and a memorandum of understanding (MoU) between Bakrie and Brothers and Trans Peninsula Petroleum Adn Bhd.
After that, President Yudhoyono and his entourage will visit WIEF exhibition and Indonesian pavilion at exhibition hall in Putra World Trade Center building.
On Monday evening, President Yudhoyono is scheduled to meet with Malaysian Prime Minister Abdullah Ahmad Badawi. (dar)
