President receives the people at Palace on Idul Fitri

President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono would hold an open house at the presidential palace on the occasion of post-Ramadan fasting month Idul Fitri celebrations.
No date however has been set pending an official announcement from the government regarding the day of the Idul Fitri, according to the presidential household and the media on Wednesday.
<>Like in the past years, President Yudhoyono would receive members of the society, government officials, businessmen and representatives of foreign countries on such occasion.
The state news agency reported that President Yudhoyono was scheduled to receive the general public from 3 p.m to 6 p.m.
It said people who wished to greet the President on the occasion at the palace were expected to enter the palace premises through the State Secretariate gate on Jalan Veteran which would be open from 1.30 pm through 4.30 pm. They were also requested to wear proper dress and leave bags, cell phones or cameras behind.
On the second day of Idul Fitri the President plans to conduct an open house at his private residence in Puri Cikeas, Bogor, West Java. (dar)
