Ahmadinejad attends dinner reception of Belarussian President

President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said here Monday evening the more sever enmity of our enemies the stronger unity, resistance and progress of Iran and the Iranians.

In a dinner reception thrown by President Alexander Lukashenko, Ahmadinejad said, the bullying powers have reached the end and the entire plans designed by them against Iran have faced total fiasco.<>

President Ahmadinejad expressed Iran's opposition against turning the world into a bipolar status and underlined that Tehran-Minsk ties development is beneficial for the regional and world peace and security.

in the reception ceremony, President Lukashenko also said, "Expansion of ties with Iran is a priority for Belarus." He said " Belarus is the best partner and friend of Iran in the heart of Europe," adding, "Although the level of relations is not currently at a desirable level, but according to an old Iranian proverb "When there is a will, there is a way."
President Ahmadinejad arrived in Minsk at the head of a high ranking delegation on Monday morning for a 2-day official visit. (irn/dar)
